Am I an external or remote student?
1. Undergraduates and Coursework Postgraduates
Automatic:
- fully enrolled as external students; or
- fully enrolled as remote students
Your Library record has already been updated to reflect your status.
On application:
- enrolled in a mix of courses in either external or remote mode; or
- enrolled in the flexible mode only or mixed mode of flexible plus remote or external; or
- before undertaking a placement of more than 2 weeks requiring a shift to another city/town
Contact your librarian to have your Library record updated.
If you are not covered by the above and believe that you have extenuating circumstances, please contact your librarian.
2. Research Students
- (a) MPhil and Phd students - update your status on my.SI-net
- (1) From the Menu, Select "Research" then "Remote Candidature"
- (2) Click in the checkbox "Remote Candidature"
- (b) Other Doctoral students - contact your librarian
