- BUBL information service
BUBL is a UK-based interactive information service which provides links to over 12,000 internet resources in a wide range of subject areas. Initially designed as a resource for librarians, it includes a directory of UK organisations and institutions, job postings, usergroup links, surveys and comprehensive archives. BUBL provides links to current editions of all major UK newspapers, as well as abstracts and selected full text from over 200 journals.
- Librarians' Internet Index
A searchable, annotated subject directory of Internet resources selected and evaluated by librarians for their usefulness to users. The site features an extensive directory of clickable subject topics. Users can also locate relevant web sites by using a detailed subject heading index or by using the keyword search box. Also offers a free e-mail subscription to a current awareness service which features short annotations to the top 20 web resources added each week.
- Pinakes: a subject launchpad
Provides access to Internet resources, by linking to the major subject gateways. Includes links to resources on art, chemistry, libraries, education, and other topics.
- E-Print network
Provides access to electronic preprints available from diverse sites. It is a searchable gateway to preprint servers that deal with scientific and technical disciplines.
- WWW Virtual Library
Catalog of Internet resources. Indexes cover a broad range of subject areas. Each entry within a subject area links to the appropriate Internet resource and is accompanied by a brief description and a relevancy ranking.

An online gateway for researchers and scholars of labour history. It has been designed to link together historical detail, archival resources, published material and current information about Australian industrial organisations, particularly trade unions, from the late nineteenth century to today.

Provides authoritative information on over 400,000 works of creative and critical Australian literature - published in a range of print and electronic sources - relating to more than 65,000 Australian authors and literary organisations, from 1780 to the present day.

The National Library of Australia's Federation Gateway has been created to aid in the location of a wide variety of materials like books, web sites, pictures and manuscripts relating to the Federation of Australia.
- Picture Australia

This web site features images from the collections of leading Australian cultural institutions from the late eighteenth century through to the present. It provides a gateway to images from its own collection and those of the Australian War Memorial, the State Library of New South Wales, and the State Library of Victoria. Users can search the centralised index for their subject of interest, view thumbnails or the larger version of the image.
- WebLaw
WebLaw is a cooperative subject gateway to Internet resources for Australian legal researchers. Law librarians from the participating organisations have taken responsibility for a particular subject area or areas and provide annotated records for quality Internet legal resources in each area.

This gateway is a service that permits simultaneous searchs in multiple retrieval systems at the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM).
