Meet the author: Stephany Steggall and Queensland poet Bruce Dawe
Join award-winning biographer Stephany Evans Steggall for morning tea at the launch of her latest book, Bruce Dawe: Life Cycle.
Meet the subject of her biography, renowned Queensland poet Dr Bruce Dawe, as he reads some of his classic poems reflecting the cycles of poverty, perseverance and personal happiness.
Dr Stephany Evans Stegall completed her PhD at The University of Queensland, after teaching and writing for many years. Her other publications include: Can I call you Colin?: the authorised biography of Colin Thiele, The loved and Lost: the life of Ivan Southall, and Yours sincerely Colin Thiele: a final tribute. She has won the Reba Gostand Prize for Australian Literature, the George Essex Evans Prize, and the Alrene Sykes Prize.
Professor Ken Goodwin will launch the book.
