The Professor and the Librarian: When it comes to romance there's never too much information!

Join Dr Juliet Flesch from the University of Melbourne as she discusses her book From Australia With Love: A History of Modern Australian Popular Romance Novels and the Fryer Library Australian Romance Fiction collection on which it was based.

Carol Wical, Project Officer at AustLit: The Resource for Australian Literature, will then talk about AustLit's role in the increasing interest in popular fictions.

These talks form part of the proceedings of Popular Romance Studies: an International Conference, the inaugural conference of IASPR, the new International Association for the Study of Popular Romance, and delegates to the conference will be in attendance.

Afternoon tea will be provided.

Cost: Free.
When: Friday 14 August, 2pm - 3.30pm
